The Joshua Tree National Park Art Gallery is pleased to announce a new art exhibition by local Wonder Valley artist, Stacy Byrd. Entitled “ReUsed!” this installation is an assemblage of pieces incorporating reclaimed items collected near her Mojave Desert home, creating desert landscapes full of vibrant color and depth. Byrd worked with teachers at Twentynine Palms Junior High School, inspiring students to create accompanying artwork out of discarded materials as a lesson about human creativity, design and engineering, The exhibition will run from May 2 through July 2 at the Black Rock Art Gallery in the 9800 Black Rock Canyon Rd, Yucca Valley.
