JOSHUA TREE MAN WITH WARRANTS ACCUSED OF POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE FOR SALE

A Joshua Tree man was arrested in Yucca Valley around 1:45 a.m. Monday (August 23) accused of being in possession of methamphetamine for sale. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle around 11:45 p.m. Sunday (August 22) near the intersection of Church Street and Twentynine Palms Highway for an obstructed license plate. Deputies determined the driver, Brian Lynch, 45, was on parole. During a parole check, Deputies discovered suspected methamphetamine. Brian Lynch was arrested for investigation of possession of methamphetamine for sale and on two felony no-bail warrants for transporting methamphetamine and for violating his probation. He was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
