JOSHUA TREE MAN WANTED ON BURGLARY WARRANT ARRESTED

A sharp-eyed deputy spotted a wanted felon walking in Joshua Tree and arrested him on a warrant and for possession of an illegal weapon. According to a press release, the deputy saw Paul Nagy, 21, walking near Sunset Road and Desert Air Road about 3:50 p.m. Tuesday. The report states the deputy knew that Nagy was wanted on a warrant for burglary and stopped and arrested him. During a search, the deputy said metal knuckles were found in Nagy’s back pack. Paul Nagy was arrested for investigation of possession of metal knuckles, and on his $100,000 burglary warrant. He was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his total bail set at $125,000.
