JOSHUA TREE MAN SEEN BURGLARIZING A HOUSE

A Joshua Tree man was arrested Sunday after he was seen burglarizing a residence. According to a Sheriff’s report, a man went to a relative’s home in the 7000 block of Outpost Road in Joshua Tree shortly before 9 a.m. The witness saw another man removing items from the home and putting them into a truck, which was parked in the home’s driveway. The man confronted the alleged burglar, who then ran back into the house. The witness then blocked in the suspected burglar’s truck with his vehicle and called the Sheriff’s Department for help. After an investigation, deputies went to a home in the 6700 block of Hillview, where they contacted Kenneth Warner, 33. A records check of Warner showed that he was on parole for burglary. The victim identified Warner as the man he saw burglarizing the home. Kenneth Warner was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary and for a parole violation, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000
