JOSHUA TREE MAN HOSPITALIZED AFTER ACCIDENTALLY SHOOTING HIMSELF – TWICE

A Joshua Tree man was hospitalized Friday night after he accidentally shot himself—twice. According to the Sheriff’s Department, paramedics were called to the 62200 block of Jericho Way in Joshua Tree about 9:45 p.m. for a 52-year-old man who accidentally shot himself in the pelvic area and in the thigh with a Glock 43 9-mm handgun. Deputies determined the shooting was accidental and self-inflicted. The victim was taken by Morongo Basin Ambulance to a local trauma hospital.
