JOSHUA TREE MAN HIT BY VEHICLE EARLY THIS MORNING

Area law enforcement agencies are investigating a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle early this morning in Joshua Tree. According to Fire Captain Steve Lasiter, about 2 a.m., a 19-year-old Joshua Tree man was walking with his family and friends northbound on Sunburst Circle when he was hit by a vehicle. The man suffered significant head injuries, lacerations and abrasions consistent with being hit by a vehicle. The incident is under investigation.
