JOSHUA TREE MAN FOUND WITH DRUGS, WEAPONS

A Joshua Tree man was arrested Tuesday morning, accused of possessing dangerous weapons and drugs. According to a Sheriff’s report, about 10:30 a.m., a deputy stopped a white, four-door car near Hallee Road and Highway 62 for having an expired vehicle registration. After an investigation, the driver, Cesar Espinoza, 52, was arrested on suspicion of possessing brass knuckles and possession of heroin. Cesar Espinoza was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $25,000.
