A Joshua Tree man was arrested Friday night, after he was found driving a stolen vehicle. According to a Sheriff’s report, a 1999 silver Honda Accord had been reported stolen about 7:30 p.m. Friday from a residence in the 58800 block of Sun Mesa Road in Yucca Valley. About 9 p.m., deputies stopped the Accord the 61700 block of Oleander Drive in Joshua Tree. Driving the car was Tommy McDaniel, 42. After an investigation, Tommy McDaniel was arrested on suspicion of grand theft auto and possession of a stolen vehicle, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
