A Joshua Tree man was arrested late Saturday night after a man said he stabbed him and hit him. According to a Sheriff’s report, Joshua Allen-Gundy was at the Yucca Valley Community Center about 10:30 Saturday night when he hit another man with an ax handle and cut him with a knife, which described in the report as a superficial wound to his left bicep. After an investigation, Joshua Allen-Gundy was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest at a home in the 62000 block of Valley View Circle in Joshua Tree. He was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
