A Joshua Tree man was arrested Saturday, accused of beating up his wife. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies responded to the 62400 block of 29 Palms Highway on a tip that a man, later identified as Christopher Myers, 37, was drinking and threatening to hurt someone. Dispatchers could hear a small child crying in the background and a man threatening to kill someone. After an investigation, Christopher Myers was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
