A Joshua Tree man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after he started screaming and beating himself up in the restroom at a Twentynine Palms drug store. According to a Sheriff’s report, about 12:30, employees at the Rite Aid store in Twentynine Palms called police to report a man, later identified as Jeremy McNair, 33, could be heard screaming “Snitch!” and cursing inside the store’s restroom. Employees also said it sounded like McNair was slapping himself and banging his head against the wall. After an investigation, Jeremy McNair was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin, and on two warrants for violating the terms of his probation from a 2011 case of driving under the influence and evading a police officer. He was booked at West Valley Detention Center with his total bail set at $75,000.
