JOSHUA TREE MAN ACCUSED OF THREATENING TO KILL HIS NEIGHBOR

A Joshua Tree man who allegedly threatened to kill a neighbor was arrested Sunday. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 61700 block of Division Street in Joshua Tree about 7:45 p.m. The victim told deputies that his neighbor, Jarrett Tagger, 29, had threatened to kill him in his sleep, and had shot his front door with a BB gun. The deputy located a loaded BB gun and dents in the door that could have been caused by BBs. Although Jarrett Tagger denied the allegations, he was arrested for investigation of making criminal threats, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
