A Joshua Tree man was arrested Saturday after he threatened a neighbor with a weapon. Deputies were called to a disturbance in the 700 block of Geronimo Trail in Landers about 7 p.m. Saturday. Witnesses said Shawn Page, 47, was in a dispute with a neighbor and threatened the victim. When deputies arrived, Page dropped the weapon and attempted to flee, but he was caught. Shawn Page was arrested for investigation of making criminal threats, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
