A Joshua Tree man was arrested Monday, accused of being in possession of a sword cane. A deputy stopped Tony Proctor, 41, shortly before 1 p.m. near Sonora Road and Winfield Road in Joshua Tree. The deputy determined that Proctor was in possession of a cane with a hidden sword. Tony Proctor was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a dangerous weapon, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
