JOSHUA TREE MAN ACCUSED OF HIT-AND-RUN, DUI

We have limited information about a Joshua Tree man who was arrested Wednesday, accused of felony hit-and-run and driving under the influence. According to booking records, at 2:52 Wednesday morning, California Highway Patrol officers stopped a vehicle driven Brian Barnett, 38, on Highway 62 just east of Yucca Mesa Road. CHP officers arrested Brian Barnett on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and on two charges of driving under the influence and booked him into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $100,000.
