A Joshua Tree man was arrested Tuesday night, accused of beating up his girlfriend. According to a Sheriff’s report, Justin Morrow, 21, became upset when his girlfriend tried to wake him up just after 7 p.m. at a home in the 61500 block of Palm Vista in Joshua Tree. Morrow allegedly head-butted her, pushed her into a table, choked her, and spit in her face. The report states that Morrow told the deputy that his girlfriend was in his face and so he “pushed her away with his head.” Justin Morrow was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
