A Joshua Tree man was arrested Sunday, accused of making threats against his ex-girlfriend. According to a Sheriff’s report, Issac Metzmeier, 20, went to a home in the 61400 block of Verbena Road in Joshua Tree about 1 a.m. and began ringing the doorbell continuously and knocking on the door. The victim did not desire prosecution at the time, and the deputy advised Metzmeier to leave the location and not return. Deputies were called back to the home at 2:30 a.m. because Metzmeier had returned and this time, the victim said he threatened her. Issac Metzmeier was arrested for investigation of making criminal threats, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
