A Joshua Tree man was arrested Thursday morning, accused of being in possession of stolen property. Just before 9 a.m. Thursday, a deputy stopped a vehicle driven by Jody Parker, 54, on Highway 62 just east of Sunburst Street in Joshua Tree. The deputy determined that Parker was in possession of stolen property. Jody Parker was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of stolen property and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $50,000.
