JOSHUA TREE LIBRARY TO HOLD BOOK CLUB MEETINGS

For the next six weeks, the Joshua Tree Library will host a book club with the theme of women of World War II. Managing editor Tami Roleff gives the details about the three books and the meetings…

The Joshua Tree Library will read three books and discuss them at book club meetings over the next six Mondays, beginning March 2. Readers will take two weeks to read and discuss each book, starting with “Lilac Girls,” by Martha Hall Kelly (March 2 and 9); “The Girls of Atomic City,” by Denise Kernan (March 16 and 23); and “A Train in Winter” by Caroline Moorehead (March 30 and April 6). The meetings will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Joshua Tree Library on Park Boulevard in Joshua Tree. Readers are invited to attend even if they haven’t read the books. For more information, contact the Joshua Tree Library.
