JOSHUA TREE LIBRARY HOST NEW EXHIBIT AND COMPUTERS

It’s said that good things come in small package. Reporter Dan Stork describes two new good things at a local small package at the Joshua Tree Branch library…

The work of artist Deane Locke, an exhibit of watercolor and pastel paintings, is currently on view at the Joshua Tree Branch Library. Her primary subject interests are flowers, birds and old falling down barns. This exhibition is part of a continuing series of art shows sponsored by the Friends of the Joshua Tree Library. Coming soon, all 14 guest and staff computers will be replaced, using a $14,000 from the Friends of the Joshua Tree Library. The installation of the new equipment, which is projected for June, will include WiFi for patrons.
