JOSHUA TREE FUNDRAISER TO BENEFIT LOCAL FOOD PROGRAM

Under the banner of the Transition Joshua Tree’s Transition Enterprise, there will be a fundraiser on Sunday August 9, from 5 to 8 pm. The event, for which there is a suggested $5 donation at the door, includes:
a workshop by Rhonda Lynn Hayes on “How to Build Healthy Soil for Healthy Plants and Healthy People”
a vegan demonstration dish by Food Not Bombs
an assortment of arts, crafts, and community booths, and
the Local Food Program’s Demonstration Garden.
The event is hosted by and at the Joshua Tree Community United Methodist Church, 6213 East Parkway.
