The San Bernardino Superior Court reopened its clerk’s offices Friday. Phones and lobby will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and court proceedings and hearings will resume between June 1 and June 8. Rebecca Havely has more information about the opening and what documents can be filed in person at the Joshua Tree courthouse…
A number of new procedures and protocols have been put into place at the Joshua Tree courthouse, including mandatory face coverings and social distancing to ensure the health and safety of all court users during this time. Residents can now pay judgments for small claims and fines for traffic cases; file ex parte (par-tay) motions for tenant-landlord disputes; and request domestic violence restraining orders and renewals. Clerks will accept documents for all criminal cases that are currently on the calendar.
