JOSHUA TREE COUPLE ACCUSED OF BURGLARIZING NEIGHBOR’S HOME

Two Joshua Tree residents discovered it’s not a good idea to ask a neighbor for a cigarette when burglarizing a home. According to a Sheriff’s report, the resident of a home in the 62000 block of Mountain View Road in Joshua Tree came home at about 10 p.m. to find that the home had been burglarized sometime during the previous two hours. The victim’s neighbor said a woman had asked for a cigarette, and the victim found the woman’s sunglasses on the bedroom floor. After an investigation, deputies arrested Tamar Muirhead, 40, and Michael Hall, 43, who reside a few houses away, on suspicion of burglary. Tamar Muirhead was booked into the West Valley Detention Center and Michael Hall was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with their bail set at $25,000 each.
