We have limited information about two Joshua Tree people who were arrested Thursday, accused of attempted armed robbery. Deputies went to the 61500 block of Desert Air Road about 11:30 p.m. Thursday where they contacted Thomas Lauer, 42, and Brooke Mackie, 36. After an investigation, Thomas Lauer and Brooke Mackie were arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and were booked into the West Valley Detention Center. Thomas Lauer’s bail was set at $100,000 and Brook Mackie’s bail was set at $200,000.
