San Bernardino County will hold the last in the series of three workshops aimed at gathering the public’s input on the Joshua Tree community plan. Entitled “Making It Happen,” the workshop takes place this Thursday, July 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Joshua Tree Community Center behind the Sportsman’s Club on Sunburst Avenue. Highlights of the workshop include a review of input from the second workshop, a peek at the draft Land Use Plan generated from previous input, and a discussion of and ranking of actions necessary to achieve the goals and objectives. Targeted for completion in 2018, the plan will be used to evaluate county priorities, land use applications, budgets and other items in the years ahead.
