The next regular Joshua Tree Clean Team’s litter pickup will be held tomorrow morning, Wednesday August 27, at Alta Loma and Olympic. The team will start at 7 a.m. and work for one short hour. There will be grabber sticks, trash bags and gloves available for use by the volunteers.
Afterwards, the team will, as always, meet for optional coffee and conversation at the Park Rock CafĂ©. The volunteers are dedicated and have been coming every second, fourth and sometimes fifth Wednesdays for eight years because they love our desert and want to see it clean! The Joshua Tree Clean Team’s co-sponsors include Park Rock Cafe, Z107.7, Joshua Tree Outfitters, Joshua Tree Recreation & Park District, County of San Bernardino, Hi-Desert Star and Cal Trans.
