Start the new year out by pledging to join the Joshua Tree Clean Team every 2nd, 4th and 5th Wednesday of the month with their goal to keep the community clean. The first scheduled clean-up in 2014 will be held on Wednesday, January 8 at the Rock House located on Alta Loma about 0.6 miles west of Olympic. The team will start at 8 AM and work for one short hour. Afterwards, the team will meet for optional coffee and conversation at the Park Rock Café. As always, there will be trash bags, grabber sticks, gloves and water available to make the job easier. For more information call 760 366-8415.
