The Mojave Desert Land Trust will be sponsoring a presentation on climate change in Joshua Tree. It will take place at the Joshua Tree Art Gallery on Saturday, June 13, between 5 and 6 p.m. Three speakers are scheduled: Frazier Haney, the MDLT’s conservation director; Seth Shteir, field rep for the National Parks Conservation Association; and Peter Brooks, an executive from Nline Energy. (Nline builds renewable energy systems that, according to its web site, diverts otherwise-wasted energy in water-delivery systems to generate electricity. This event is being held with the JTAG Invitational Show “Climate Change: Truth or Dare,” on exhibit from June 6 to the end of the month.
