The Joshua Tree Art Gallery will hold a summer pop-up sale of its current show. The show features artwork from 70 local artists, and includes paintings, photography, assemblage and 3-dimensional works. All proceeds go directly to the artists. The show closes today with a closing reception from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight.
Beginning July 27, a new show featuring artwork from Tim Gonchoroff, will open. Gonchoroff is a multi-media artist artist-in-residence at Joshua Tree Highlands. His show will have an opening reception July 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. JTAG, located on the highway in downtown Joshua Tree, is open Saturdays 10 to 3 and Sundays noon to 3.
Gallery 62 holds an opening reception tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. Featured artists include John Henson, Susan Kearns, Diana Shay-Diehl, Patrick Kelly, Jennifer Ruggiero, Jeffrey Turner and Brianna Baxter. The art gallery is located on the highway behind JTAG in downtown Joshua Tree. Gallery hours are Saturdays 9 to 3, and Fridays and Sundays from noon to 3.
