The Joshua Tree Art Gallery will hold a book reading featuring Joshua Tree Highlands artist-in-residence Maxim Loskutoff. Loskutoff will read from his recently published book of short stories “Come West and See.” The 12 stories are intertwined about an armed occupation on a wildlife refuge in the West. The book reading is set for 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 28 at the art gallery, 61607 Highway 62, in downtown Joshua Tree. The event is free and open to the public.
