One of the hallmarks of a community is how it cares for its dependent animals. ROP Broadcasting student Brianna Bickle highlights the animal shelter in Joshua Tree…
The Morongo Basin Humane Society known as, M.B.H.S., runs the no-kill animal shelter in Joshua Tree. Every one of the staff, volunteers, and board members believes in the idea that no adoptable animal should be euthanized, and that some seemingly unadoptable animals can become someone’s treasured pet with time and training. The problem is that this belief of complete commitment to the health and well-being of every pet in the shelter comes at a very high price. The organization is always accepting donations, as in money, food, blankets, also water and food bowls for the dogs. For more information, or to make a donation, contact 760-366-3786.
