JOSHUA TREE AND YUCCA VALLEY LIBRARIES OFFER CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS

For the next month, the Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley Libraries are offering programs for children up to age 5. On Tuesday mornings at 11 a.m. at both the Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree libraries is preschool story time for children ages 3 to 5. The story time promotes a love of reading and provides an opportunity for socialization as children listen to stories, sing songs and construct a simple craft. Totally Toddlers is a program for active toddlers, and is held Wednesdays at 11 a.m. in Joshua Tree. Toddlers will sing fun songs, and play with props before winding down with favorite stories.

In Yucca Valley the program is Little Builders at 11 a.m. Children will have the opportunity to take part in an interactive science, technology, engineering, and mathematics program to learn and build projects. On Thursdays at 11 a.m., the Yucca Valley Library will hold a Kids on the Move for the more active toddlers with high-energy songs and lots of movement.
