The Joshua Springs Lightning golf team will be playing in the Victory League finals today (Tuesday, April 30). The finals had originally been scheduled for yesterday, but was rained out. The three best golfers from each school will compete for the All-League awards. The golfers competing for Joshua Springs are senior captain Josiah Fontillas, senior Eli Wahlberg, and sophomore Devin Landers. The tournament starts at noon at the Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon in Beaumont.
Also today, the Yucca Valley High School golf team will participate in the Desert Valley League preliminaries.
