JOSHUA SPRINGS GIRLS’ BASKETBALL TEAM LOSES BY ONE POINT

Joshua Springs girls basketball battled until the end but lost by one point to Public Safety Academy last night, 35-34.

Coach Sara Nicholas said the Lightning were led by freshman Eden Dufour with 16 points. Sophmore Jocelyn Wheeler had 11 points, including three 3-pointers. Freshman Karissa Torgeson contributed six points, while almost winning the game by making both free throws with just a few seconds left. However, Public Safety Academy was able to score one more basket to win by one point. 

This game concluded the 2018/2019 basketball season for Joshua Springs girls’ varsity team. Thank you so much for the support this season!
