Joshua Springs Christian School boys’ basketball played the visiting Mesa Grande Academy and lost 67-30.
Standouts were Dillon Lovejoy, with 13 points; and Sam Velasco, with eight points.
Joshua Springs girls varsity basketball team lost to Mesa Grande 54-21.
Standouts were sophmore Jocelynn Wheeler, who led the Lightning with three 3-pointers for a total of nine points. Freshman Eden Dufour contributed eight points and sophmore Lovelynn Serra continues to lead the team in rebounds.
