At tonight’s 7 p.m. meeting of the Joshua Basin Water District, management is recommending the board move forward with plans to charge for inactive meter accounts. If the board votes to move forward, the next step will be to hold a public hearing on the matter November 18. Also tonight, the board will hear a update on conservation efforts. Those items and others will precede committee, staff and director’s reports. Tonight’s meeting takes place at District offices on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
