The Joshua Basin Water District Board meets tonight. Reporter Mike Lipsitz says paving and surplus property are on the agenda……
Infrastructure, of a sort, is up for discussion at tonight’s meeting of the Joshua Basin Water District board. It seems temporary fixes to cracks and holes are far from a permanent solution so directors will consider three bids, each around $50,000, for repaving of the district office parking lot. Also tonight, the board will consider updating the policy for disposal of surplus property. Those items and others will precede committee, staff and director’s reports in this last meeting before Tuesday’s presidential election. It all starts at 6:30 p.m. at district offices on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree where there’s plenty of free parking.
