The Joshua Basin Water District board of directors convene tonight in regular session. Near the top of tonight’s meeting is an update from the Bureau of Reclamation on pilot studies for Chromium-6 treatment followed by a mid-meeting closed session with legal counsel. Back in open session, anyone left will hear about bids for the cleaning and disinfecting of well 14, and a fiscal first quarter financial report, and finally, there will be standing committee, staff and director repots. It all starts at 6:30 p.m. at district offices on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
