At tonight’s 6:30 p.m. meeting of the Joshua Basin Water District, the board will receive a presentation by Mojave Water Agency, followed by the likely approval of the 2019/2020 fiscal budget, and among other items directors will consider replacement of ball and check valves as water meters are replaced over the next five years. Cost of the replacements is estimated at just over $500,000. Those items and others will follow public comments. Committee, staff and director’s reports come later. Tonight’s meeting takes place at district offices on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
