At last night’s meeting of the Joshua Basin Water District, directors approved a resolution changing the name of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee to Citizen’s Advisory Council, other changes designed to make the council more effective were also approved, along with two new members – Paul Coat and Jane Jarlsberg. In other business, the board considered the first annual review of the agency’s year-old reserve policy. A handful of adjustments recommended by the finance committee and designed to make the fund operate as intended were approved. And finally, directors approved $23,000 in bad debt write-off for fiscal 2018-19.
