Among the items up for board vote at tonight’s meeting of the Joshua Basin Water District is the hiring of a human resources/labor contract administrator and an executive assistant along with updated job descriptions for both. Also up for vote is a purchase of three replacement fleet vehicles, and a contract with an outside vendor for maintenance and repair of reservoir floors. Then directors will consider an overdue office remodel. Those items and others will follow public comments. Committee, staff and director’s reports come later. It all starts at 7 p.m. at district offices on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
