Directors at the Joshua Basin Water District will meet in special session at 5:30 p.m. this evening. On the agenda is consideration of four documents connected to the district’s recently approved $3 million dollar installment loan. The loan will finance the long-awaited startup of the water agency’s Capital Improvement Program. The district’s recent rate increase will, in part, be used to pay down this loan. Tonight’s meeting takes place at district offices on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
