At tonight’s meeting of the Joshua Basin Water District, the board is expected to authorize the general manager to enter into an agreement for the survey and design of the district’s Saddleback Watermain Replacement Project. The project essentially kicks off the district’s capital improvement program and will include replacement of failing watermains, fire hydrants, service lines, valves, and other infrastructure. Also tonight, directors will go through the annual exercise of re-approving the district’s investment policy. Tonight’s meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at district offices on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
