The Joshua Basin Water District Board of Directors meets at 7:00 tonight at agency offices on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree. There are two items on tonight’s action agenda. The board will consider water bill programming changes at an estimated one-time cost of $7,000 plus $1,250 in annual support costs. Also, the board will consider a waiver of the basic facilities charge and meter installation fee, both totaling $5,200 for a property, because a 12-year-old reporting error that incorrectly reported to a prospective buyer, now owner, that the parcel already had a meter. Following those possible actions, reports and consideration of the consent agenda, directors will adjourn to closed session.
