The Joshua Basin Water District Board of Directors has called a special meeting for 5:30 p.m. tonight. Among the items on the agenda, the board will be asked to discuss draft agreements with Mojave Water Agency for water supply connection, transfer facilities, and water storage; and discuss a rate study. Directors will also hear a presentation on converting to solar energy and be asked to form an ad hoc committee to work on the project. The meeting will be held on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
