JOSHUA BASIN WATER DISTRICT BOARD MEETS TONIGHT

In what has become a familiar workaround in the age of social distancing, the Joshua Basin Water District will be phoning it in for tonight’s regular 6:30 p.m. board meeting. Here’s reporter Mike Lipsitz with the agenda and instructions for you to view or listen and comment…

At tonight’s teleconferenced meeting of the Joshua Basin Water District, Directors will consider approving a pandemic policy for inclusion in the district’s employee handbook, directors are also expected to approve a software upgrade aimed at improving efficiency in managing work orders and inventory control and decreasing data entry requirements at a cost of just over $20,000. And among other business, the board will consider waiving late fees during April and May; and postponing water service terminations until June.

Members of the public who wish to comment on any item on the agenda may submit comments via email two hours in advance of tonight’s meeting. Complete instructions are posted with this story online. There will be no public location for attending in person.
