Meet and query the five candidates vying for three board seats at the Joshua Basin Water District at a public forum 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20th at the Joshua Tree Chamber of Commerce on Hallee Road. Incumbents Bob Johnson and Mickey Luckman are running to keep their seats against challengers Douglas “Buck” Buckley, Richard Fountain and Geary Hund. Candidates will take questions submitted in advance or at the forum. Questions may be submitted ahead of time via email to [email protected] with “JBWD” in the subject line. Questions must be worded so all the candidates can answer them. Light refreshments will be provided.
