The Joshua Basin Water District met in a special session yesterday. Reporter Mike Lipsitz Zoomed in and has this report…
At yesterday’s special meeting of the Joshua Basin Water District, the board authorized purchase of four new Toyota Trucks at a cost of almost $175,000. Two of the vehicles would be used by the production department, one for field operations and one for use by the general manager. Turning to the 2019/2020 midterm budget review and 2020/2021 budget workshop, the tables and figures were variously described as lean, on target, defendable, and workable. And finally, the board unanimously voted to support Kimberly Cox as the representative to sit on the Local Agency Formation Commission’s board.
