The Joshua Basin Water District Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting at 6:00 tonight. Among the items on the agenda, the directors will give direction to staff about whether the water district should purchase additional water for recharging this fiscal year or next fiscal year. The board will also be asked to approve a contract with an outside company for credit card processing, which is estimated to save the water district $16,000 a year. Next up, is a request to authorize a capital improvement plan at a cost not to exceed $40,000. Tonight’s meeting will be held in district offices at 61750 Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
