At tonight’s regular meeting of the Joshua Basin Water District board, attendees will hear from an outside consultant about legislation out of Sacramento that could affect districts here at home. In other business, the board will consider authorizing up to $86,000 for an automated operations, monitoring and control system with the potential to maximize efficiencies throughout the district. Those items and others will follow public comments. Committee, staff and director’s reports come later. Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. sharp at the district offices on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
